Advancing technologies have completely transformed the bottling industry. One piece of equipment which is essentially the increasing the productivity of bottling businesses is the label dispenser. All bottles require to be labelled and it is one of the lengthiest processes in production. Before the modern label dispenser, labelling was performed manually.
Modern label dispensers which are used for large industries are usually fully automated. Automated label dispensers are pre-programmed using an integrated computer system. Information, such as the sizes of the label and the required position of the label in the bottle, is entered into the computer; this is then transmitted to the label dispenser as each label is applied to a bottle. The bottles are moved along the production line on a conveyer belt so the only work required of humans is supervision.
Without the automated label dispenser, the bottling industry would not be able to produce products on the same scale. It is easy to take the manufacturing industry for granted as consumers. We are used to having all the products we need, whenever we want them. However, if it wasn’t for certain equipment such as the automated label dispenser, products would be manufactured much slower and would be less readily available.
