PPMA at the NEC Birmingham Stand E55

Tuesday 27th Sep - Thursday 29th Sep, 2011

We are very pleased to report a hugely succesful event at the PPMA with a fanatastic response to all our new equipment from visitors, industry peers and the packaging press who attended our Exhibtion Press Conference on the Tuesday.

The very latest in innovative and versatile labelling equipment made its debut at the PPMA, including the Pack Leader PRO Series of affordable, fully-automated labelling systems.

Suitable for a variety of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, homewares and food and drink, the PRO range of exceptionally accurate and robust machines can be bespoke or integrated into a line for labelling a variety of container sizes, cartons and bottle shapes, and are available exclusively in the UK from Advanced Dynamics with prices starting from as little as £6,000.

This new addition boosts Advanced Dynamics’ substantial offering of high-quality labelling equipment. The whole range is built to the highest standards using quality materials, such as stainless steel and anodized aluminium alloys, is user friendly and can reliably label the full range of package configurations, from the base to the top, at speeds of up to 40 metres per minute.

For entry level top labelling, the flexible ELF50 desk top unit is ideal as it can be moved around production areas and is easily adjustable for any product size or shape, while the ELF50 offers the same flexibility for round bottles. The range, amongst others includes the inline PRO-515 wrap around labelling machine and  PRO-625 front and back labeller which is flexible enough to cope with any shape of bottle.

As if that were not enough, we were also proud to launch the new  Eurokett Matrix label dispenser - the sucessor to the highly accurate and flexible Junior.  This advanced range of labelling systems uses the very latest and best stepper motor drives and control technology for unrivalled accuracy, reliability and ease of control.  With operating speeds of up to 50m/min the Matrix is worthy of taking over from the popular Junior and the workhorse label dispenser for the full spectrum of labelling requirements.

Also on show was Advanced Dynamics’ exciting range of sheet counters. We are proud to be the exclusive UK distributor for Italian manufacturer B.Matic’s line of Protec Dual System Sheet Counters – revolutionary, highly-accurate counting technology which causes no damage whatsoever to materials.

Ideal for printing, paper mills, converting and packaging, they can count a variety of items such as paper, gift wrap, posters, artists’ materials, cardboard, currency and credit cards, handling sizes from A6 – A1 up to 800gsm thick at impressive speeds of around a thousand sheets per minute with imperceptible corner deformation.

Unlike other sheet counters, Protec’s patented twin vacuum technology sorts the sheets from the top of the pile downwards ensuring 100 percent accuracy (with suitable material) - crucial to containing costs by preventing undersupply or excess volumes to customers. The machines also provide environmental benefits by reducing the waste caused by damaged materials.

Seawhite, a major supplier of educational materials, have not looked back after recently purchasing two of B.Matic’s Protec Counters from Advanced Dynamics. Director, Neil Tobin, said: “They have made such a huge difference to our operation. They are much more reliable than our previous equipment and have eliminated the problems we were having, helping us improve production significantly.”

Advanced Dynamics’ joint managing director, Malcolm Little, is confident of building on the products’ success at the PPMA Show. He said: “We are delighted to be exhibiting at PPMA, where we will be demonstrating the eye-catching new PRO range of cutting-edge labelling equipment, and the B.Matic counters. These are machines that can help companies save money, improve productivity and reduce waste.”

The prevailing economic climate means businesses have to watch every penny when purchasing capital equipment and Advanced Dynamics is convinced that its range of new PRO Series label applicators and B.Matic Protec counting machines offer the cost-effective solutions needed for boosting profits in a wide range of industry sectors.

IPEX 2010

Tuesday 18th May - Tuesday 25th May, 2010

Hall 20, stand number 20E631, NEC, Birmingham

Advanced Dynamics' attendance at the recent  IPEX print industry exhibition at the NEC has been hailed as a huge success by Joint Managing Directors Mike Essler and Malcolm Little.  Insiders at the show hailed it as the "start of the revival of the industry" after the difficult financial uncertainty of the last few years.

Held every 4 years IPEX is a truly international event with visitors attending from all over the world; with additional strong attendance from UK visitors it enabled us to not only present our capabilities to our own market but it helped us work even closer with our European principals to develop their own overseas markets.

Launched to the print industry in the UK for the first time, the B-Matic range of tab inserters, sheet counting and pack counting/moving equipment was a huge success with an order being placed within a week of our return; more about B-Matic in a separate news item.

The world renown Köra Packmat range of flat product feeding and wrapping systems needs no introduction to the print industry world-wide and it drew its usual ever increasing number of admires and current users alike. On show was a wide range of feeder applications together with the new AF300 Advanced Feeder giving a high level of control capabilities and high operational speed and EF235 Easy Feeder, Kora’s budget entry-level feeder.

Finally, our range of labelling systems was represented by both the Eurokett Junior work-horse capable of almost any application and the Eurokett Ultra giving everything and more in terms of high speed application with retained accuracy to a recently increased 70m/min.

8 days at a trade show is a long time and both Mike Essler and Malcolm were happy to see home at the end. Happy too, that the investment in the company’s biggest market-specific exhibition had been a roaring success.
