Advanced Dynamics Announce New Checkweigher From Tesab

Leading supplier of quality checkweighing and labelling equipment, Advanced Dynamics Limited, has introduced into the UK the Tesab TC 3 checkweigher – a fully automatic, stainless steel machine, complete with the latest Windows XP-based management software.

This latest addition has been developed especially for the bakery and confectionery sector, including those dealing with bread, biscuits, sweets and crackers, and is capable of handling pack weights between 10g and 40kg, at speeds of up to 75packs/min. Advantages include an easy clean design, multi-lane use with touch screen control, feedback and data management in percentage terms, and on-line networking capabilities.

In addition to these benefits, the Tesab TC 3 aims to help food processors comply with the recent traceability laws enforced in January 2005 under the EU’s General Food Law legislation (178/2002), which states that food manufacturers must be able to trace food through all stages of production, processing and distribution. This new system has been introduced to coincide with the changes in the law and has been specially designed in stainless steel to improve efficiency and traceability through the food chain.

Its sophisticated Windows XP-based software provides optimum communication possibilities to other computer systems and many operational parameters can be stored in the computer memory. Information provided on a clear and easy-to-read touch-screen display includes piece-count with average weight, actual average weight, a count of overs and unders and a record of the line speed.

Additional options include a combination metal detector, easily removable conveyors, a printer for data management, a scanner for multi-product batches, alternative rejects, and it can be custom built to accommodate individual needs.

Director of Advanced Dynamics Limited, Mr Malcolm Little, believes the Windows XP software is a distinct advantage to the Tesab checkweighing equipment: “The real benefit of the Tesab TC 3 is its intelligent management software. The official launch of the Tesab TC 3 will take place at this year’s PPMA show at the NEC in Birmingham, and will be accompanied by a number of complementary equipment from the Advanced Dynamics range, including batch control systems, high accuracy product feeding and labelling equipment, and static management products.
