Advanced Dynamics Debuts At PDP

Stand D58 Telford International Centre, April 12 –14 2005

Bradford based Advanced Dynamics Limited is making its debut appearance at the PDM exhibition, following the merger of Crusader Europe and WLT earlier this year. The company will have a selection of innovative equipment on display from world leaders in thermoforming, static elimination and de-dusting technology.

Stand D58 will feature a range of equipment from AL.MA, Simco and Pelletron, providing solutions for those involved with thermo packaging, plastic production and recycling, sheet production, film manufacturing, injection moulding, inmould labelling, laminating, blow moulding and many more.

First time exhibited at PDM will be a new range of thermoforming machines, distributed exclusively in the UK by Advanced Dynamics and manufactured by the specialists in packing machinery, AL.MA S.r.l. The machines are capable of thermo packing a wide range of products in the medical, food and industrial sectors and offer bespoke solutions to avoid material wastage and optimise the packaging of each product.

And from the specialists in static management, Simco, a selection of ionising air blowers, guns and knives will be on display, alongside web cleaners, anti-static bars and chargemaster systems, all designed to eliminate potentially dangerous static charges during plastic production.

One of the latest additions to the company’s extensive Simco range is the P-SH-N-Ex anti static bar, which has been specially designed for the removal and neutralisation of static in plastic and rubber during injection moulding, and will be on show at this year’s exhibition.

Exclusively UK distributed by Advanced Dynamics, the company is also exhibiting four new high-voltage Simco DC generators for those involved in inmould labelling. The most important of these is the ECM, (European Chargemaster) a bipolar application machine. Specifically designed to meet the needs of the web market, the unit comprises two power supplies each producing a positive and negative charge at different output polarities. When connected to charging bars, they can make webs cling together electro-statically, without any physical contact. Typical applications include pinning plastics and films along with labels prior to permanently fixing.

Complementary to the Simco range and taking a prominent position on the stand will be a range of de-dusting equipment from the providers of bulk handling equipment, Pelletron. Designed for the removal of dust and debris during the production or recycling of plastic, the various models can handle a wide range of plastics including polyester, acrylic, nylon, polypropylene, styrene and PTT.

Joint managing director, Mike Essler, says: “Advanced Dynamics is committed to providing quality solutions to UK plastic manufacturers and handlers, and we are pleased that we will have such an impressive line-up of equipment on show. We have an excellent product offer, combined with a high level of technical expertise and unrivalled after sales support.”
