Advanced Dynamics Wraps Up At Ipex

One of the UK’s leading suppliers of specialist labelling, feeding and wrapping equipment, Advanced Dynamics Limited, is launching two brand new machines at this years Ipex show – the Eurokett VEGA and the Köra Packmat VMC 105.

The first new addition to the company’s machine line-up is the Eurokett VEGA label dispenser. This new system is equipped with a stepper motor drive to give a much higher level of control to the labelling process. When supplied with the encoder-based speed tracking system, the dispenser maintains extremely accurate label placement even when the speed is varied during the application process. An additional feature of the VEGA is that all the system’s programmable controls are built into the systems back plate, therefore no extra space is required to accommodate a traditional control box. The operator interface for the controls can be rotated to ensure the correct orientation for vision no matter where the dispenser is sited.

Eurokett VEGA can handle labels measuring 10mm width (minimum) to 110mm width (maximum), operates at speeds of up to 30 metres per minute and gives +/-0.8 mm position accuracy.

Also to be launched at this year’s Ipex show is the VMC 105, manufactured by Köra Packmat, a world-leading manufacturer of feeding, wrapping and counting equipment. The VMC 105 is a versatile machine designed for separating, counting and tightly wrapping small-sized products, including phone cards, stationery, greeting cards and CDs. The machine ensures pristine presentation and offers high flexibility.

The VMC 105 operates at speeds of up to 100 pack/minute, depending on the application, and runs shrink film, OPP, CPP or PE as single wound or centre folded film. Additional packing options include overwrapping, thermal transfer printing and labelling. Visitors to the stand will see how easily the system deals with CD and DVD wrapping.

Also on display will be a range of complementary consumables including self-adhesive labels and thermal printing ribbon, as well as other machines on the company’s range including special purpose labellers and feeders.

Joint managing director of Advanced Dynamics Limited, Malcolm Little, said: “Ipex will be a great show for Advanced Dynamics as the printing industry has been the market area for much of our historical success. Looking forward, not only will this show see the launch of two exciting new machines, but also we want visitors to tell us their particular production requirements and discuss how we can create a bespoke solution and provide equipment based around their specific needs.”

Following the merger of Crusader Europe and WLT Ltd, Advanced Dynamics Limited was formed in January 2005, to offer a single source solution for all labelling, checkweighing, feeding, and wrapping requirements.
