The PROTEC paper counter is the heir to the PROTEO counter, and is equipped with touch-screen technology and a new mechanical handler based on the DUAL SYSTEM double-blade aspiration system (B.MATIC patented). Optical statistics and mathematical counting are out; the sheets are counted one by one.

This is the only paper counter able to count batches of cardboard and plastic; it even tab-inserts separators.

One of the main distinguishing characteristics of PROTEC is that it counts top-down, so that only the sheets on top of the ream are removed, and only the number required. The operator’s job is made much easier.

The machine can also count a wide range of weights (from 70GSM to 350/500GSM*), with totally non-aggressive corner contact.

Adjustments for changing from paper to card are fast and require no tools! The whole operation can be done by manually removing small steel plates.

All counting operations are done electronically using state-of-the-art technology. A multilingual touch-screen makes operator-machine dialogue simple but highly informative. The system works with printers, a PC or supplementary touch-screens. The use of electronics means that a large number of accessories are available, tailored to your needs.
